Been using H&R Block software for years with few problems. The only really annoying problem was when I switched computers from Windows to Apple — the Apple software wouldn’t read my previous return so I had to reenter a lot of tedious numbers…
Now on my third year in Apple and it is back to simple and easy.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used H&R Block software (aka TaxCut) since 1992 when it came on 3½ floppies and I fully support this product. BUT: For no apparent reason I was forced to upgrade my iMac operating system just to run the app. I did not see any enhancement from the past years running the older operating system.
Also including eFiling for state returns would be a great advantage to us loyal users.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

Would not allow me to characterize retirement stock fund capital gains as retirement income - which is not taxable in PA. Had to override which negated e-filing. Unsat.

I've used this software for years. Unfortunately, the user interface needs updating. Many screens use fonts that are too small. Hard to read! When you check for updates to the Fed and State programs it is impossible. I have to adjust display brightness, room lighting and screen angle to barely make out the next update.! Ridiculous for a 2924 software program!
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use, plus I don’t have to learn the IRS changes year to year; you do that for me,
The only issue I had was with EFile on your system. For many years I used the same security code to EFile. This year the IRS said I was given a new code to EFile, which I never received.
I had to file our taxes this year by mail.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!
