I have used the deluxe version for my taxes for years and purchased it again this year. At last minute I discovered I had to file an additional form that was only on the business version. There's apparently no way to just get an upgrade to business version if you already have deluxe so I had to buy 2nd copy of deluxe to get the business software. Ridiculous. The product is excellent however.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

After install it needed an update but after download it could not update. A new update was to be released soon so I waited. Started the software after the new release date and it tried to first download and install the previous update but failed. During this I tried install the state software and that appeared to install but wanted me to pay even though it was part of the package. Called support and she gave me a direct link to the state software. I uninstalled everything and tried again and eventually it became useable. The double billing for the state software eventually fell off my credit card statement. After I was able to use the federal software I found that last years data was not imported. But I did finally get through the issues and was able to file my returns.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Been buying for over a decade. Gets the job done if you know a little about the complicated process. If you don't know much about taxable specifics or deductible contributions, it struggles to compare to a human advisor.
