I have been using this product for several years. I love the fact that it remembers my tax information from the previous year and automatically fills it in. I'm a CPA with experience on all the major tax filing systems. I prefer H&R Block for personal returns. It's got a friendly user interface and still enough heft to accommodate unusual twists like partially taxable 529 distributions. Definitely recommend Deluxe plus State.

To claim some state credits it is required that you attach documented proof. Your state tax calculator will not allow attachments so I had to use standard mail to file my tax return with the state.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

I always dread when tax time comes along. But for several years now I’ve been using H&R Block software to file my taxes. It is easy to use and it actually is the fun part of tax time. Specially if you have a refund coming.
