Had trouble for multiple days trying to submit the returns. Could not get the state program to print properly on e didn't printed. Never did get them to print. Have never had this much trouble with this program .
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used HR Block for many years. Overall, I like the program and find it to be easy to use and accurate. This year, however, I have a MAC. In the past, I had a Dell. The download process on the MAC was confusing and frustrating. Locating the files after the download was near impossible because the directions did not match the reality of where the files are. HR Block needs to work on making it easier to use the download on a MAC.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

The software is very user friendly but could use some refinement in regards Retirement Distribution Codes. Some of the options need to be more defined. There is a lack of representation for some retirees circumstance. It's not clear which one to choose.
