I've been using H&R Block for my family's taxes for decades without issue. The price is reasonable and the features seem to improve year over year. Some years my taxes can be reasonable complex and I know I can depend on H&R Block to get me through them. I have discovered some "bunny trail" items in the software that can mislead regardless of how closely they are followed; thereby, requiring a more in depth study of the tax code to get things to the letter of the law.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

Be advised, when using computer programs, stick with one manufacturer as ease of use increases everytime you use the program. Since, I have used this program for five years, I know how to go back into program with no problem if I had errors. Their support if you do need to ask a question is excellent.

I have been using for years but apparently there was an issue with the IRS not recognizing my birthdate. I could not figure out why my return was being rejected but they chrged me every time I tried to resubmit my return.
