Great software if you’ve used it before or you’re familiar with doing taxes, the software misses the mark with details on some questions and guiding you when something new shows up, leaving up to you to use Google or the irs website to find the answer. For example, I sold stick and the software downloaded the documents from the site pretty easy but it failed to instruct clearly that you still have to validate each transaction, so at first it did not calculate the capital gains correctly until I doubles checked because the tax liability did not seem correct, leaves it up to the use to figure it out, as I stated, once you know how, it’s super easy.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used HR Block Deluxe for over 10 years now (when it was called Tax Cut). Calculates and fills in the IRS forms based on easy to use questionnaire. Several options for data entry including importing 1099's, W-2s, etc. Also carries forward data from last year's return saving time with data entry. (e.g., personal demographics, payors, etc. making it easy to update anything that may have changed. Easy to e-File and/or print return.
