I've used H&R Block software for many years. It's pretty easy to use. My only complaint is that I often don't know how to pose a question to get me to the correct help answer. I would also like to be able to correspond with a real person a little easier.

But MD State had an issue with claiming disability for spouse. Need to have a direct line to report glitches in the program so customers don't keep getting place on hold or constantly redirected

I have used H&R Block for the last several years. While improvements have been made, I have always had problems submitting an electronic form to the IRS and state. There are supporting forms that always need correction before submission. The software should have taken care of that. Because of the frustration, I will use another product next year.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
