The software had a number of issues this year. Not all required forms getting included in e-files, resulting in IRS rejecting submissions. Had to manually do the forms and print rest. Talked to support twice. They said fixes would be provided, but never heard back after they got me off the phone. I just gave up trying to get a fix. I have never had these kind of issues in the last 10 years, but really has me questioning if it was ever correctly done.
Cons: Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Everything worked great until I was asked to help with some last minute tax refunds for family members that were part of that debacle where the taxes were not being transmitted but it would place a temporary holding on your bank account

I purchased this hoping it would be more accessible than the IRS fillable forms. Turns out the UI was not very elegant and not any more accessible to vision impairment than the free IRS forms. Wasn't worth the purchase in my opinion.
