I bought the program early (late December) and there were updates that needed to be done before I could file but they were ready about the same time the IRS started to accept returns.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I use H&R Block because it’s much less costly than Turbo Tax. Questions in H&R can be interpreted different ways. So it’s hard to answer.
Cons: Time consuming
