I am a retired CPA who previously used all-encompassing income tax software to prepare client tax returns. However, my personal financial situation is fairly straight-forward, and I have no need to use all the tools available for tax professionals. H&R Block provides the necessary resources to prepare most types of common tax returns and is far less complicated. It is inexpensive, easy to use, and I highly recommend it.
