Have used H&R Block tax software for years. It’s generally been competent at what it’s supposed to do. This year, however, several of the forms were delayed well into the filing season. I understand late actions by congress can affect this, however, I didn't read about that problem affecting this years forms. While H&R Block is still better than Turbo Tax, next year I’ll likely look to see what other tax software is available.

I've used it for years. No major changes to how the software works, makes it easy and fast to use. I struggled trying to figure out ObamaCare for the first time. I thought that was coverage. Didn't realize I needed to reimburse the government.

I buy it every February, download it in March, start working, file the end of March. This may seem slow but investment companies have until the end of February to get their various 1099's out. I have been preparing my own taxes for over 40 years.

I almost missed out on $800 Colorado tax refund. This software did not include it, I accidentally discovered it on the internet. BIG MISS BY H&R BLOCK!!!
Had to file an amended return, and couldn’t use software because it didn’t have the proper process.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
