Your State of Michigan software failed to compute an accurate Michigan income tax return. Specifically, the program failed to carry over my disability pension income to the household resources section of the Michigan Homestead Property Tax Credit. Consequently, household resources were understated, and the credit was overstated. I had to manually file an amended return.
When I called to tell HR Block about the failure the person on the phone just said ok. No thank you or sorry for your inconvenience.

I’ve used the H&R Block software for many years. I generally have moderately complex return. I recently moved to Arizona from another state. I was confident that my state return would be accurate and complete without my having to be the expert in my new state’s tax laws. My only complaint is I feel that Filing electronically should not be so expensive.
