I've used this software multiple times and always find it easy to navigate through the tax prep process. As a homeowner with retirement annuities and other investments and savings it is important to me to get through the process right the first time and with no anxiety about getting audited or sent a bill for an insufficient payment. I prefer to focus my energies on other things more important to my day-to-day living and well-being. And it is affordable!

This is the first year that I had any trouble with this software. Federal when through just fine but, now I am hearing from the State of Ohio Taxation the math was not correct and that I owed $386 on Social Security and my un-reimbursable medical expenses. Is there someone to talk to about this issue?

I’ll be using TurboTax for 2024 tax year. HR Block was still working on forms well into March while TurboTax users were able to file in early February.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
