My taxes were more complicated this year. H&R Block didn’t have the features to complete. I had to use the IRS online program to file. Program is only good for normal income and investments.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Personally have used this software for 23 years without any issues. Only shortcoming is no free state tax filing (yes, it CAN be improved!)

HAve been buying for many years, have never had an issue with the returns. The checker built in is always used to check my inputs.Actually I have no cons, but I listed time consuming as waiting for updates or acceptance from the IRS takes some time.

I used HR for the first time this year and I found it harder to use than Tubotax the direction and explanation were not always helpful or easy to understand

The program was very good. The Delux edition included 5 federal returns , a little overkill as most people just use 1, and 1 state return. I did the fed return and filed it, all went well. The Deluxe version gives you 1 free state return.I did the state computations , went fine, I w
