The fed tax software was good, but the PA state tax software was bad: 1. there was no PA schedule D1 form. 2. the PA tax report was wrong. I could not us it and had to prepare myself. should I use it I would have a big trouble.

I am tired of getting your emails wanting me to buy your software direct from you when there are multiple authorized retailers at nearly 1/2 your price. If I am a valued customer why not sell to repeat customers at lower prices???

The NM state tax program is ok for salaried folks with no attempt to take advantages of various credits offered by the state. The software does not include an adequate library of forms for state filing. Ended up I had to send in by mail because I couldn’t add required forms.

Updates are rather slow. The NC State tax form do NOT look like the real form. Unless you know the meaning of the line numbers, you can't read the form by itself.

I purchased this because the nearest competitor is beyond excessively greedy and forces saving work on their servers. I prefer to do my taxes off line using the applications. If it's online there is another service that is free...why pay for lack of control over my personal information. Biggest gripes with hrblock... (1) I pay more for state so i deserve free online filing (2) I hate paying for an access key that forces me to download a version from a third party web service. Just include a thumb drive. (3) I teach incarcerated inmates and purchased hr to use to teach financial literacy...the do not have access to internet and it would be great to give them the ability to learn your software. Of course you made this impossible by being lazy and greedy. I will not make this mistake again. If I purchase software. I get to own and use the software fair & square.
