I have used H&R Block software for years. It is easy to use, and I feel like it makes sure it ask about everything that I am required to report and let me know every benefit I have to lower my taxes.

Getting Bad Sadly

I could be the last year I'm using this software. On a MacPro, I have to reinstall this software every time after I close it. After I completed my tax return, I couldn't save the federal and state returns in PDF.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

I was puzzled about Social Security payments. I don't get SS. When I got to the SS part, it gave me a choice to Skip or Next. I chose Skip. Later it was flagged for some problem with SS data. Should delete Skip enter 0 SS payments after tapping Next. Or maybe I didn't understand.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this program for several years, but had several problems this year.
Machine was Win 11 with 16 gig. I had several times when the program locked up. Even to the point of having to kill power and restarting. It also refused to efile for so called missing data on a 109 9 R which apparently isn't requires in the state of Ohio.
