The instructions, especially to start were incomplete. I don't remember the specific examples because too much time has passed, but I was told told to go somewhere, but had no instructions on how to get there. I literally had to guess, and click things to see what would happen. After I got into the tax part is was O.K. I was also unpleasantly surprised to find that I had to pay for filing the state taxes. The outside of the box did not say one word about that. I read the flyer inside, and the way it was written it sounded like you paid to file state taxes ONLY IF you asked for more state forms than what came with the purchased package.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's nice to have software that does nearly all the work for you, but it does nothing to explain how any of it works. Even though our incomes have changed little, we are stuck with a very large balance owed and I just don't understand why.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
