Their process is totally screwed up. They paid my state taxes TWICE. It took me a month to get my money back!!!!

I've been using it for years... since it was called "Tax Cut," in fact. It does everything that I need except for two minor details. Rather than a new program every year, I wish it was a single program with plug-ins for each year. Not to save money, just to save clutter in my computer. The other is, I have a family member who insists on snail mail rather than filing online. It needs to be easier for print and mail users. It especially needs an envelope wizard!!! It also prints the instructions on the first page, so the first page of the return is on the back of the "do not mail" instructions. 😣 I checked both "fast" and "time consuming" for that reason.
Other than that, I can't find fault. Filing and saving are pretty straightforward (if e-filing) and being able to access prior years' information is a real time saver.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

Have used this software for more than ten years and have never encountered any issues or problems, unusual for any software. Only wish they would resume mailing updated discs each year rather than remembering to search for the download.

I have been using H&R Block tax software for years. It have been very user friendly for years through Family, S-Corp, and Sole Proprietorship businesses. The software helps remind us for all of the income and deductions that are appropriate. This helps in minimizing the tax due each year.

Generally easy to use except entering information from investments, namely stocks and bonds. Then I have to place close attention hoping I followed instructions accurately. So far I haven't been audited for inaccuracies, but I wish I felt more comfortable about it.
