Great for most filing needs. Easy to follow interview takes you through all the major sections for filing. Would be better if it had functionality to file trust documents, which I had to compute and fill out manually, but for most personal income tax needs, does the job well.

Is there any way to print the 1040 only? It is not obvious and it is bothersome to delete the supporting documents. I am going to look for 1040 only print option on my next tax app.

Every year I purchase H&R Block Deluxe software when it is offered at a discount before tax season. I do this because I know I can rely on it to make filing my taxes a simple as possible, but also that it will ensure that my tax return is accurate. The Deluxe version of the software is exactly what I need for my situation. Using H&R Block Deluxe, I normally get my tax filing done in one day, thanks to the way it leads me through the process and provides helpful information and links to IRS forms and instructions if I have questions.

Better than last year, but the "Check Accuracy" or "Check for Errors" section is confusing. Your price increase was/is noted and unwelcome. Why can't efile for the State return be included in the price? We both know its very cheap Why no disc? Downloads are often not reliable, in my opinion. Overall, I think the quality of the HR Block Federal and State software is ok but could be better. I've used this tax software for more than 15 years. Right now, its value is just average, at best, and dropping. I still recommend it, for now, but that could very well change.

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
