I’ve been using HR Block tax software for years and it’s easy to use. I haven’t compared the refund amounts with other software or with an accountant so just assume/hope I’m getting all the deductions and credits I should be getting.

I found the software easier to use than other tax prep companies. Also, a better value. The only issue was I had to manually add the amount of tax-free monies received from corporate bonds on my state return. The program lumped all the money as taxable for my state.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Product had a problem with saving the program after you had an Federal update. Your tech people could not solve the problem. By coincidence after you had a second update it was solved. Disappointed in tech people. They tried but to no avail.
