I've been using H&R Block for years. It's easy to use and is accurate. My biggest complaint is that I should not have to pay extra to electronically sign my state taxes. I don't need 5 free Federal filings! Why not 3 free Federal filings and 2 free state filings? Needless to say I just mail in my states taxes. For the cost of purchasing this software, the state electronic filing should be included.

Software is good but still too much for our simple tax return. We are always short form and way too many pages to go through that are not necessary for our usage. Wish it could be cut down to just the documents we use in our preparation.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

I started using this program many years ago when it was Kiplinger's Tax Cut. I have talked with people who have used the other program and I think the one I use is best. I like the fact that I can file more than one return electronically (kids, other relatives).

I have been using H&R Block taxware for years. We have a somewhat complicated return but their program offers suggestions and advice throughout the program. The "download" feature is wonderful in that it takes the guess work out of where to include amounts and saves hours of work
