Filing of Fed & State Income Tax Return Made Easy

Income tax payment was programmed with the software for automatic April 8 payment to IRS by electronic funds transfer from my checking account. Simple and no worries with dropping a check in the USPS mail.

I have been using HRB Deluxe for many years including this last one - 2023. I had a promo for Turbo Tax so I thought I'd try that as well. HRB is much better, especially since it follows the order of the tax return. I had no trouble understanding where to enter info on HRB. And quite honestly, I'm very adept at learning new software, so trying TT for the first time was in itself not difficult. It just didn't make sense where answering the questions would ultimately populate the forms. The biggest problem I had with the HRB, is the Update process on my Mac would require me to go find the download file directly and install it. Same problem as past years, so I'm good at that now. Thus the 4 of 5 rating. Fix that and I'd give it a 5 of 5.
