I used the SW on my Son's return and had problems
The form 1099 NEC was counted twice on the Sched1 form and I could not get it corrected.
I eventually deleted that return and started another from scratch to correct the problem.

The program works as well as any other tax program.
Navigation varies from easy to confusing.
Several returns can be done with one purchased program which is nice if you have several people in a family doing taxes. It is unnecessary for a single or joint filer.
After purchasing the state tax add-on you have to pay again to e-file it. It is usually not available if you wish to file fairly early.
Importing data is awkward from some sources. Each is slightly different; banks, investments, Treasury, etc.

However, I needed to input a tax form for the sale of some stock and had difficulty finding where and how to do this. You need to improve your help features to more directly help users search for specific forms or answers to questions.

Major Failure of H&R Block

The failure of H & R Block’s Tax Software on April 15 to e-file my federal taxes caused my taxes to be paid twice. Not knowing if or when the tax software would file my taxes on time, I printed and mailed my federal tax forms so my taxes would be filed on time. Imagine my surprise when my mailed tax check and the e-file payment were deducted from my checking account.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
