Was given additional charge for refund to go throgh another organization. Free electronic filing is not free. False advertising. Will use different software next year. Everthing else with software was great.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I have used HR Block tax software for >10 years. Overall it works reasonably well. The interview portion seems comprehensive, it does the math accurately, and draws data from the previous year. I don’t like the accuracy review. It points out what seems like useless details without sufficient details to correct
