For a couple of years now I've been audited because of a selection error in the W-2 box 14 section. I've been told by NYS that NY 414H contributions are always taxed. The box 14 pull-down menu shows a "NY 414H NYS Subject to NYS Tax" and a "NY 414H Tax Exempt" option. Per my conversation with the NYS taxation and Finance the 414H is always taxed. Please remove the incorrect entry choice.

It does not work for those who use Louisiana Schedule E. Thank goodness I have done taxes in the past (including for your firm) and could catch this or I would have paid way to much to LA!
