I have used H& R Block tax software for more than 5 years. It always works well for me when filing Federal taxes, But the E file of State didn't work last year so I paper filed my State taxes this year and it worked OK.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I've been using H&R Block tax software for about 8 years now. My taxes tend to be pretty simple. I own a home, have a job, and while I have some stock/bond investments, I'm a very infrequent trader. The tasks of importing my previous year's return and finishing my current year filing is pretty straight-forward and simple, and generally takes me about an hour each year.
H&R offers all sorts of "Best Return" guarantees, and let's be honest, who's actually going to file with H&R software, and then go through the process with someone else to check? I appreciate the confidence the claim offers, but they know what they're doing here.
Overall, this is a simple software to use that's comprehensive and well-backed. I've been using it for almost a decade, and will very likely continue! Thanks H&R!
