If you deal in stocks, the deluxe version includes the tax information necessary to file. It seems like other brands will offer this feature with their next more expensive version which includes rental and business.

Took all the steps to send my return to the IRS in April. Software told me it had been submitted. I never saw my tax bill leave. My banking account. Been busy with work and finally in June I checked. My return had never been filed. I tried to file it right away, it kept telling me that the software needed the updated. It updated six times before it finally filed my return. Very unhappy with your service.
Pros: Easy to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I first filed my return through Block IRS rejected it. However it was returned to me by Block with specific errors highlighted. Block then took me specific forms with errors and told me what to do. Once I made the recommended changes I refiled the return and it was accepted very soon by the IRS.

Cons: Hard to import documents

BIGGEST PROBLEM FOR ME IS TERMINOLOGY. I HAVE DONE MOST OF MY OWN TAXES FOR 50 YRS, BOTH BUSINESS AND PERSONAL. I DON'T USE THIS LANGUAGE BUT ONCE A YEAR, I THINK YOU COULD DO BETTER.
