I use this software on a yearly basis and normally would give it 5 stars but had a problem back in early 2021 when I was preparing my 2020 taxes. This has not been resolved still to this day and I am owed money from the IRS due to a software problem back then. I have not received the money yet from the IRS.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

Usually get features on Federal & State, however, Louisiana State left out line 7. What I thought was a refund became a balance due. That glitch was done on 4 return. What happened?
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund

The steps were easy to follow; instructions were clear in most cases, and I was able to file my state and federal returns on line myself for the first time (my previous tax preparer retired last year). I'll certainly use it again next year.

I’ve been using this software for several years and have always been very satisfied. Typically I have everything entered and am ready to go before the IRS opens up for submissions.
Ours is a simple return since we are retired and have a simple income to report, but it also ensures that I don’t miss any possible deductions. I have been doing our returns using this software ever since my husband royally screwed up doing the return manually and cost us penalties due to his errors.

I bought this when it was on discounted price. Deluxe + State is the only one that makes sense. Pulling from previous year makes it extremely easy to get that data. Most information needed is in the correct place that it tells you to look.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
