Ok but not great

I have used this product for 2 yrs now, but don't think I will continue to do so. The fed was ok the state of oklahoma (which I paid for) was off. I was required to send in paper copy's of the complete return. I also paid to efile and have refund directly deposited. This did not happen, when finally done recieved paper checks for refunds.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent . . . with one flaw

Very useful software . . . works as intended, especially for a repeat user. Previous years' relevant information automatically brought into the current return. This year I finally got my return accepted. I had to send it repeatedly until I fixed one small error (mine). But I had no clue from either IRS nor Block as to the one single digit I had to correct. So . . . I got the job done, but this time around it was more difficult than before. But do note, I am older than before. :;
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

San Diego was granted a filing extension by the IRS because of a storm disaster. However, the software was not updated with this information and handled my return as a late filing ineligble for an extension.
Pros: Easy to import documents

Mostly good

One needs software like this to complete a return that is the least bit complicated. I have trouble navigating this program and cannot always find answers to the questions the program raises.
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming

I have been using this software for a few years. Each year it is more difficult to do my taxes. This software has changed way more than TaxAct ever was. It makes no sense that I have to hunt down where to put my property taxes. If I purchase the Deluxe, it should be there in front of me. Don't force consumers to go to a professional. Also, I am paying the gov't money at the end, so you are not finding all my savings..I am retired with no job so how is the program helping me?:
