So many years using TaxCut and it's always great

I'm 66 and started using TaxCut software, now known as Block Deluxe, a long time ago, probably 1992 or so. Each of those years I've been very happy with the software and its interview process, as well as going directly to forms. and it has gotten more and more natural to use! Such as importing 1099's from Fidelity and other such places. Highly recommended!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Been using for over 10 years. I have had a terrible experience. Had problems filing on April 15th due to hrblock issues as reported in the media so filed an extension. When I was preparing my taxes for the filing, the file got corrupted and had to REDO everything!!! I think the way certain question are phrased are horribly vague, ambiguous and not helpful. I cannot recommend this product to a friend.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Several of my family used the downloaded program to e-file Federal and prepare PA state for mailing. Worked great. The only problem for me was a glitch with last year's AGI needed for e-file. I knew last year's PIN, which was an alternative according to IRS, but wasn't able to be entered in the HRB program. I hope you continue the downloadable program for future years.

Been using HR Block Deluxe + State for years. Unhappy that last year was the first year that the State Electronic filing was a cost. Prior years, one filing was free with the software. Not pleased at all. Might have to consider other tax software.

Recommend this for the Federal taxes but unable to get the Alabama state return to e-file. Tried multiple times and even started over completely. We had to print it and send via snail mail.
