It is almost an imparitive that one use Tax Software to do their State and Federal Taxes. H&R Block provide software that is both accurate and reliable. Even though I am fully qulified to do my taxes without software, I would not think of doing it by hand anymore.

Does not provide any help for a return for a trust
Seems like one state return used to be included.
Does not have 1041 form or Dr0105 foot Colorado in the program.
Not helpful at all.
Made a phone call and she was less than helpful.

I subscribe to auto install for the year 2025. I could not install the product because my computer is new and uses a different operating system. Period I had to revert back to my old system on my old computer in order to run this year‘s product. It took many calls to get the problem resolved.

I have been happily using H& R Block Deluxe software for many years, but this year my 1099-B transactions could not be downloaded from Merrill Lynch. I had to enter over 30 transactions manually, which sort of defeats the purpose of the using the software. Apparently H&R Block and Merrill are no longer cooperating with each other. I will not be using H&R Block next year due to this issue.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
