I have an old Mac and after buying TurboTax and then finding out it was not compatible with my old machine, I turned to HR Block product. I will say I was a little skeptical after being a lifetime TurboTax guy but all in all I was satisfied with the product and found it easy to use. I will say I like the visual look of TurboTax a little better but HR Block error check feature is better and caught a couple of things for me. Returns were submitted and accepted without issue.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!

I was a little upset with the pa state software. For the last 2 years pa has a HSa credit that your software does not do. I had to use the pa revenue site to get a refund for this.

I've been using H&R Block Deluxe tax software for many years. It's really made a sometimes difficult job much easier every time. Now that I'm retired and have to deal with various income sources like Social Security and IRA withdrawals, using this software helps with it's step by step interview type of format. And the FAQs along the way also put my mind at ease by helping me feel confident I'm doing things correctly. Great product!

I was going to stop using it because I couldn't take advantage of the free e-file (one form that I needed was not eligible for e-file), but this year I could. With previous data stored, my fairly complex taxes were done, checked and filed in no time.
