We use Deluxe every year and are happy with the results. There are still areas that we are still not sure what the software is asking us to do. My suggestion is to have someone who is not tax educated read thru the program and then address the problems they have with the questions being asked.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

This year was the easiest ever. It seemed the state tax forms were much easier as were the federal forms. I managed to do everything rather quickly and was very pleased with the program.

Software does the job. Although the help is not great and I always run into glitches in the software that make using it a headache. More often than not, I end up going to the IRS website to get clarification on an item. Quicken is much better. Importing financial data from investments is hit or miss at best and I end up entering manually. The only reason I use H&R block is the price. It does save me time over manually doing taxes.
Pros: Fast
Cons: Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
