My son was sent info for hrb and i used it and paid for it. When he went to use it(as one of the 5) he couldn't use the code so he is going to have to pay again. Where did the others go?

The software makes completing the return and filing easy; we've used it for years. This year, the software said I had made an HSA contribution or excess contribution in 2023, which was not the case. I haven't had an HSA for years. It took quite a bit of time to correct the bug. Also, it's annoying to have to pay for filing state returns, having already purchased the software.
