Good program but lacking details in explaining some things. I still had to search the internet to find out things not explained in the program. Got with the state module but when I filed it wouldn't file the state return because of some types of income but professionals tell me they could file electronic returns even with that type of income.

Not difficult to use but not the most user friendly. Attempting to efile state taxes are a headache. This will be my second attempt for the state. I don’t have much confidence it’ll send or be accepted this time either. Software gives vague warnings and even after you review, they don’t go away. It’s much easier to do online versus the software. Plus you have to upload for CRPs in a pdf. The software is like going back in time to the mid-late 80s when I was using dos software and the original Oregon trails on floppies.
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
