Federal good State bad

I filled the Federal and got my refund fast, but the Colorado State tax program was messed up had to do a paper return.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used H & R Block software for many years. It is easy to use and reliable, and my returns have never been rejected after filing. The only reason I rate it 4 out of 5 stars is that the only way to print / PDF my final return is in landscape view, as otherwise the text runs off of the pages. This is apparently a problem for mainly for Mac users, and I have an older Mac which may be compounding the issue.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast

Confusing RMD Excess Accumulation Section

Excess Accumulations section questions regarding RMD form 5329.
Very confusing, by adding RMD amounts, both from IRA Institutions documents
and amounts received, always ended in an IRS Penalty!! Plus the "Window" question
not had confusing description or explanation.
