In these days of free returns (including even IRS), the cost of H&R software plus state return is clearly overpriced! At the very least, state e-file should be included. My return is very simple: standard deductions, several 1099-INT and 1099-R. That is it.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have tested using both programs and the refund amount is the same, but H&R block is easier to use. So its a lot better for the forms I need.
