Bought the Deluxe+State on 2/4/2025 from OfficeMax, submitted the Federal and State Returns on 2/5/2025 and received the Federal Refund on 2/12/2025. Awaiting the State Refund, I was glad I bought this H&R Block software for the first time and will continue to buy and use it every year.

I have been using H&R Block software for over 10 years and it's always served me well. Navigation is easy and it uses easy to understand language to lead me through the process of completing my taxes. The only thing I have to say negitive is that I wish the downloading of my investment and bank records were more stright forward. Also, too bad there is no option to purchase a CD to install the program.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

I have been using H&R Block software to do my taxes for a few years now. It is easy to use, and it provides easy to find information when I need it. However, one thing I wish it provided, is for each page of data fields to be completed (for each web page section), there would be a footnote stating which IRS form the information will appear on. There are times I need to look up information on the IRS.gov website regarding what qualifies in more detail, and not knowing which form the information belongs to is sometimes hard to find.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
