I use this product every year. It is so much easier then filling out paper forms and you can easily look at your last year's submission to make sure you are not missing anything.

I think your software is overrated. And gimmicky. Have used it for years with the same opinion. Turbo tax is no different.

Overall the product does exactly what it did year after year, walking me through the areas, no significant improvements. However this year it also failed. That is my e-file has been rejected, and the report back is "already submitted". I'm sure that is not the reason but there is no way to resolve this short of calling someone. Very disappointing and will not likely use in the future...
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

A few flaws
on February 13, 2025

I have used this software before and it did my federal return this year very well. I had to paper file my state return and the instructions were not as easy to follow as the e-file instructions.
I had a hard time finding all the correct directions for filing the state return.
