I feel that i have been film flam they persuaded me that i had to update my deluxe program to a premium program so i could file a straight 1040 ez with no deductions taken accept standard deduction. I also called the store because i have never done my taxes before and they said just buy the program and do it yourself and take a chance that you can get it done wright
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used H&R Block software for more than 10 years and had never counter any issues except this year software while trying to submit for my returns and the software glitched out and twice on me the same day. I had to way the next day to call in to get the issues resolved but the rep. has not idea how to fix it so I tried to submit again on my end and this time it went through fine. I had no idea what the issues were.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nothing fancy about this program but it gets the job done. And it does not try to get you to upgrade to a more expensive program. No ads either. I have been using this for several years after switching from TurboTax. It did cost more this year but still cheaper than competitors.

Although yours is not a very responsive company, and the software has always been overpriced, it has been valuable to me and covers all the basics. Like McDonalds, I know what I'm getting when I purchase the product.
