A few more words of explanation would be helpful.

I have felt comfortable with H&R Block and have used them for the last 5 years. One thing that was a little confusing to me this year was the term "rollover." It seems to have had one meaning for my investor services and another within the program, and it wasn't totally clear what the intention was. A few more descriptive words would have saved me a bit of time.

I’ve used this software for a number of years and it just keeps getting better. Very easy import of data from previous years return, straightforward entry screens, automatic porting of data to the state program, and easy electronic filing process. Both my statement federal returns were accepted, almost immediately, and my refund was posted with a matter of days. Would recommend this program, especially for someone for starting out.

I am a long term customer and I'm the past have not had many issues over the years. This year I have had multiple issues connecting the Internet with the software when filing the taxes. Since I am not having other Internet issues it has to be the software. I make sure updates are current.

Your State software (PA) did not compute properly. The software did not allow for a HSA deduction. I was not able to input the value manually so I resorted to using the State website and submitting my return.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Answering the questions to fill most of the forms properly went well. I had trouble working with form 5695 - energy efficient home improvements, and wondered if there was a glitch in the software. Eventually got it done by answering one question incorrectly, but it didn't affect the outcome.

Cons: Time consuming, Hard to import documents
