Great software but

I have used H&R Tax software for years. Does everything I need it to do. Great Product.
The only thing I would recommend is to add an option for all the contents from the prior year to be copied into the current year form.
Reason - I am retired and virtually nothing changes from year to year but I still need to add the information that is not copied over.

Easy to Use and Affordable Download Version

This is my third year using H&R Block. I switched from another tax software package when the price of theirs doubled for the downloadable version. I don't want to do my taxes 'online' only, but like to have it available on my desktop whether I am using an internet connection or not, and just am not comfortable having all my data stored just on a remote server, no matter how secure it is. This is the only software I found still at a reasonable price that I can install on my computer. It is very easy to use and the tutorials easily guide you through the process. I have never, as yet, needed to use any support.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Federal Tax program works well and guides you through the process fairly well. Some items request data, then next pages says you are not eligible or data not needed. If you don't qualify for an item because of last year's filing, then don't ask for info.
