Long time user of this product, however this year had numerous issues with the download Wrong version, missing state download, unable to file electronically multiple support chats didn’t resolve Ended up resolving myself by fresh reload on a different computer
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For Minnesota state processing, the software did not check whether itemized deductions, or standard deduction with then-allowable subtractions, would be better. Had I not calculated both cases myself, I would have overpaid by $361! Then I was not even allowed to modify the forms to correct the error, so had to fill out my state forms manually.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've used the H&R software for probably a dozen years. The online version costs more than the storebought version. This doesn't make sense to me. I am familiar with the program, having used it for years. The program itself is not the problem. Trying to load the program becomes increasingly more difficult. You have my money, can I load the software, please? I spent more time loading the program than doing my tax return!

I've been using H&R Tax Software for over 5 years. Very pleased with its ease of use. And the basic Federal and State is reasonably priced. My one issue is that better notice be given that you should not include as itemized charitable contributions should not include QCD's.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
