How do I get my state transmission fee back ?

Transmitted Fed & State, Fed passed ok, state failed, paid for state transmisson and not accepted , no way to resend, have to mail.

TR Price Gov't money fund- MD state tax treatment

I do my own taxes & use the tutorial along w/an Excel spreadsheet. Every year there's a problem re: MD state tax allocation of taxable/non-taxable dividends w/the TR Price government money fund. I spent a couple hours getting it right. I don't know if it's the software or it's just too complicated to post the MD taxable/non-taxable portion amounts. Also, when I look @ forms, it doesn't pop-up as a full screen & it requires more keystrokes. A full screen would be preferable.

How do you compute RMA due? Wrong, that’s how

this year, doing my federal return was a nightmare. I did three separate returns trying to get your program to stop charging me a penalty for not paying my RMD on my wife’s IRA when I clearly did and recorded it properly in the 1099 section. Everything else worked properly but now I’m concerned that you have not recorded it correctly and the IRS will come after me. I didn’t have these problems with TurboTax.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

Good product - late to market with Form Updates

I have used H&R Block Tax software for at least the last 15 years. I have found it to be intuitive, easy to use, and accurate. However, I am displeased that the product, in recent years, is lagging in timeliness of all updated forms. In the 2023 tax software, Form 8936 Schedule A (Clean Vehicle Credit), was not available until 3/1/2024. In the 2024 Tax Software, the Vehicle Expense Worksheet was not available until 2/14/2025. These form and worksheet delays have taken longer than other tax software providers. For this reason, I give H&R Block a grade of "D" for being LATE TO MARKET with a fully usable tax software package.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
