Taxes are easy to complete and upload with HR Block software. I use this software every year to get it done. I takes me about 30 minutes to get it done. Others could get it done sooner with the automated features.

I wasn't sure if the software completed a return for a deceased person correctly. My niece died in February 2024 after only a month of income. I included her date of death. The program gave her the earned income credit, which she wouldn't have gotten had she lived /earned for the entire year. I don't know the ins and outs of the EIC, but I would think her eligibility would be prorated for her time living in 2024.

Federal taxes went smoothly. Your mediocre ratings is because of State filing. Filing got rejected 3 times because of CRP FORM which after chatting the 3rd time on your software, we found out your site is not set up for people who have to file rental forms (CRP). Hopefully my bank account will not be charged your fee for 3 attempts as of now it shows up 3 times.
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
