Easy to install and use. Step by step, page by page you are led through filling in your tax forms. I've used this product for over 20 years and it gets better every year. Checks your numbers when complete to verify you entered everything needed and if it is correct. E filing was very helpful. Complete a section at a time or work at your own pace. Be sure to save a copy for yourself, .pdf , print out or both.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Although the price has gone up a lot through the years I still buy it. It makes doing my taxes so much easier. This year seemed a little bit harder to find the way to download the program but all in all a good program.

Switched from the other well known tax prep software at least 10 yrs ago because there was a form on HRB that the other software didn't have. Since then have continued to use HRB. Throughout the year I put all tax prep info into a folder which makes prep work much easier. While there is more work involved in doing it yourself, I feel confident that my tax return is accurate, without missing info (due to checks the software performs). E-filing is done with a few clicks. You can save the return, print the whole thing or just a summary, simply and quickly. Great section for itemizing charitable deductions such as books, CDs, clothing, and household items. Best part: the cost is a fraction of what a tax preparer would charge.
