There was a software error in the New York State version which would have resulted in an underpayment of taxes had I not caught the error. On the Federal portion of the software, you are prompted to enter your annual real estate taxes. On the New York software you need to enter any Star Credit received which reduces real estate taxes. The program did not offset the gross real estate taxes paid by the Star Credit resulting, in an inflated itemized deduction and an underpayment.

I bought this last month and IRS would noy except my E- fax from your Company program. So now I Mailed it in. cost too much to have to mail in. I paid extra for my state Taxes. Was to get 1 free to send in. Did not happen! Your company wanted to charge me extra to send it. What a Con Job! For the deluxe program!

Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have used this program for the past seven years. It is easy to follow and provides easily accessible information clarifying any topic on which one may have questions. Updates to the software are forecasted well in advance and those updates are usually on time. (I have had to wait only once for the software to be updated.)
