Been using your software for years now, and the last couple of years been disappointed about sections not being complete and have to wait weeks to finish our taxes. That is the only complaint that I have. Other than that it is a great tax program and easy to do.
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

I used H&R Block Deluxe software for years. In the past I have always been fully satisfied and able to complete my taxes, and file, without incident or issue. However, this year, my computer is not allowing me to update the software and stopping me from filing at the end of the process. I'm told it is probably a function of my security software. It probably is, but even disabling the software has not fixed the problem. My taxes are done but I'm still stopped from filing.

I have used Block software for over 25 years and will use another program ... this year I was billed 2x when submitting an file, My filing for a family member was unexpectedly rejected even when I tried to change the information... I could go on

Worked OK but not happy with H&R tax software

Software worked well, but the narrative/explanations related how to enter scholarship income and how the claim the Education Tax Credits could be significantly improved. The software is misleading, and as a result I think that I missed out on Education Tax Credits I (actually my daughter) should be entitled to. In this regard I'm not happy with the H&R Block tax software and I may consider switching to Turbo Tax

I've been using H&R Block software to do my taxes for years now. It doesn't take long to complete! The hardst part is gathering together all the information I need to get started. I submitted my return the same day I started and received IRS acceptance within an hour of submitting! Not bad!
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Need to add more financial institutions to the investments list. Not doing so makes it far more time consuming to add critical information to tax returns.
Some that are missing are Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and Wells Fargo Advisors.
Also, It would be very valuable to be able to easily enter data by each tax form as it is received.
Cons: Hard to import documents
