When I filled my state taxes the software didn't complete a schedule properly. For the first time in my life my return was flagged and I ended up owing much more than expected.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

I've been using the H&R software for decades, well before it was bought by Block. I've never been audited and have always got the maximum refund. Why in heaven's name would I want to use software provided by the IRS? Looks like the fox guarding the henhouse!
