There is or was a glitch this year where several people’s returns, including my sisters, were rejected by the IRS the first time we tried to e-file, saying the return had previously been filed. It was very upsetting, especially with the rampant identity theft going on. It turned out to be a glitch in the software and several days later the returns could be successfully resubmitted. I have used this software for myself and my family for over a decade and I trusted it, for myself and for them. This caused a lot of unnecessary confusion and distress.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

We've been using HR Block for many years but am unhappy with the fact they don't support some WV state credits. That means we have to print and file by mail like we did 20 years ago. Ridiculous!
